Professional Biography:
Mr. Hanafee has conducted business as a General Motors executive in twenty-four countries. He returned from a three and one-half year GM assignment in China in 2001 and concluded over 36 years with the auto maker. Patrick settled in Aurora and started PLH International LLC. He is an adjunct professor of international business, business, and marketing at Webster University.
Mr. Hanafee has held executive positions in purchasing, marketing and international trade at General Motors. He has been involved in selling GM products around the world and in establishing export programs with developing countries. The export programs included automotive components, raw materials, and consumer goods. Patrick has written published articles about international trade, automotive material purchasing and the use of econometric models in purchasing strategy.
Academic Degrees / Licenses / Certifications:
Bachelor (Communications) and Master (Marketing) degrees from the University of Illinois and has completed executive development programs at the University of Michigan, Harvard University, Thunderbird University and Michigan State University.
